Universal Conciousness ..poetry that helps you remember who you are

When you are aware that you are aware, you are turning into “self”,
your viewing the in-dwelling being that has been put upon a shelf.

The one that sees through the eyes you have, the beautiful world, judging good and bad. The one that hears through the ears you were given, the sounds of children, birds and harmful living.

The one that feels the emotions that drive you, loving and frustration, happiness and sad too. The self is the one that has always been there, like God and the sun just you have not always been aware.

Like a movie, so engrossed we forget we are in the seats, so is life to our.. “self”, brilliantly playing with it, like wind to a leaf.

But if that leaf were to realize that the wind will come and go, and the stem that holds it strong to the tree is embedded far below.

Then the leaf would just enjoy all the swaying back and forth, and each breeze is just events in life, that never change it’s course.

The self may seem elusive, because the pull of life, the movie, is so loud, but it’s sitting in the seat of mind, observing you, being proud. Proud you have come so far this time, remembering who you really are is a sign.

A sign that you are raising your awareness of self, a level of consciousness above all else. When you attain this grande state of being, abundance flows effortlessly through your life and can be seen.
